Walking Through History

Well I have been waiting a few months to publish the photos from this walk. The reason for this will soon become very clear I hope. This walk is between the Sheffield Interchange and Meadowhall. Along the way It takes in views of the city's industrial side and its steel heritage along the river to its more commercial future. More importantly ten of these images (my favourites) have been selected for a mini exhibition at a local independent art cafe. The exhibition was launched on Wednesday 02/04/14 and will run for two months. If you are in or near the city I urge you to go check it out along with the other art. They also have a nice selection of food and loose leaf teas.

This walk was a long one so choosing a top 10 was hard. The 10 featured have been marked as such. I hope you enjoy it and as always check out the Twitter the Facebook and my Etsy shop. Also I am selling some of my insect photos on ebay. 50% of the profits go to the Invertebrate conservation charity Buglife. Please check them out here. Also if you are interested in purchasing the 10 featured images they are available for £10 each or £15 framed. Go to www.the-imda.com, e-mail info@the-imda.com or call 07834 957 992. You can also ask me through the usual methods. One last thing please check out my interview with the Sheffieldist. It explains a bit more about the blog and its future. Sheffieldist Interview
